Regulations for registering Scientific Work
Registration
Categories: Scientific Panel
Scientific panel: presentation of works based on science, area reserved for these modalities. The presenter will receive a discount of 30% in Congress fees.
The objective of work is to enable the participants of the congress to have the opportunity to make a personal contribution about themes related to the event.
Fill in the form. Send it electronically until 1 August 2007. Confirmations of receipt and approval will be sent by e-mail.
Forms sent by fax, e-mail, regular mail or any other means that are not part of the site will not be accepted.
Presentation:
After evaluation by the Scientific Commission, the author will receive information about the date and time of his/her presentation.
Instructions for presentation of the abstract:
Each presentation will have a limit on authors: 1 Presenter, 4 Co-authors.
Participation in the Congress of the author or at least one co-author is obligatory.
Format:
The text must be typed in Times New Roman, size 12. The text must have no more than 2,000 words, including title and authors.
It must contain objectives, material and methods, results and a conclusion, as well as bibliography consulted.
Work will be selected beforehand by the Scientific Commission.
All works must be English, followed by Spanish and Portuguese.
Notification of works selected for presentation, along with date and time of presentation, will be available on event site beginning on 30 September 2007. (www.latinevent.com.br/wsc)
Preparation of the panel
Dimensions:
Scientific Panel: 1.70m (height) by .90m (width), in vertical position.

Presentation of the Panel
Panels will be exhibited for the time determined by the Organizing Commission
Under no conditions will any change of presenters be permitted.
Presenters must be at the disposal of participants and/or the Judging Commission on the day and hour pre-determined by the Scientific Commission.
The hour appointed must be rigorously observed. Time lost through delays will not be recovered.
The Organizing Commission and Scientific Commission will not be responsible for assembly and disassembly of the Panel nor for their security and protection.
Academics will be able to present panels as long as they are accompanied by the responsible professor or supervisor.
1 (one) certificate with the name of all participants will be given for each work presented. Data will be that given by the author on the day of registration.
Modifications and/or additions will not be accepted.
Acceptance of registered work obliges the presenter to be present at the Congress for the period and date that are determined for him/her.
Certificates of scientific panels can be picked up from the Congress secretary on 26 October.
Cancellation of presentation must be solicited in writing to the Scientific Commission at least one week beforehand.
The scientific Commission is not responsible for work presented, nor for any kind of loss or damage to any material or equipment used in the presentation of works, nor for any expenses resulting from their assembly or installation.
